After the ratification is submitted to the <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_2\" onclick=\"BLOG_clickHandler(this)\">WIPO<\/span>, China will soon be the 53rd Member State of the Treaty. On the same date, the <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_3\" onclick=\"BLOG_clickHandler(this)\">NPC<\/span> ratified the <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_4\" onclick=\"BLOG_clickHandler(this)\">WIPO<\/span> Performers and <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_5\" onclick=\"BLOG_clickHandler(this)\">Phonograms<\/span> Treaty. The <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_6\" onclick=\"BLOG_clickHandler(this)\">WCT<\/span> and <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_7\" onclick=\"BLOG_clickHandler(this)\">WPPT<\/span> are jointly called the two Internet Treaties.<\/p>\n<p>The NPC Standing Committee also makes statements that these two WIPO treaties will not apply to Hong Kong SAR government and Macao SAR government before the central government makes further decisions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipr.gov.cn\/ipr\/en\/info\/Article.jsp?a_no=43227&#038;col_no=934&amp;dir=200612\">http:\/\/www.ipr.gov.cn\/ipr\/en\/info\/Article.jsp?a_no=43227&#038;col_no=934&amp;dir=200612<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The National People&#8217;s Congress has ratified the WIPO Copyright Treaty on December 29, 2006.
