New Compulsory Standard for Digital TVs is at Rock
A Compulsory Standard for Digital TVs are supposed to be implemented on August 1, 2007. However, the Standard that actually merged two existing standards developed by Tsinghua and Jiaotong University respectively is still not supported by any chip or equipment. Without the hardware support, the implementation is going to be empty. This is going to be another compulsory standard after WAPI for wireless network connection.
